Meet Ann

Ann LeFevre, PhD, LCSW, CMT

Hi and thank you for visiting my website! I specialize in helping individuals experiencing chronic pain, sleep problems, and trauma-related stress. I am a recovery-oriented therapist, and I fully believe recovery is possible. I use a combination of talk therapy and mind-body strategies such as self-acupressure and mindfulness to help clients. My top priority is to help you live your best life.

My Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in using evidence-based treatments, backed by decades of research. I have been a therapist for over 15 years, and most of my experience comes from working at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where I’ve spent the past 10 years. If you are interested in learning more about the specific treatments I provide, please contact me.

Please note that I do not accept any insurance plans, but will provide my clients with detailed superbills to submit to their insurance companies for reimbursement. My standard rate for one hour of therapy is $165.

About Me
After living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 10 years, I recently made the difficult decision to move to Denver, CO, and I couldn’t be happier! While Denver has quickly become my home, I continue to provide therapy for clients living in both California and Colorado via telehealth, which is really a win-win. The majority of my experience comes from working for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and also through previous work on inpatient and residential units at a non-profit mental health facility. A few years ago I returned to school to also become a massage therapist! I opened a small massage private practice called Restore Body and Soul in 2016 and expanded it to add mental health counseling in early 2018. I also published my first book in 2018, Live Your Life: 14 Days to the Best You, which includes lessons I’ve shared with my clients over the years, using examples from my personal life. In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing, taking walks and exploring small towns, and I’m looking forward to exploring Colorado nature.
