When you find yourself struggling or simply wanting to feel better, it is helpful to seek care from a seasoned professional who has not only the education, knowledge, and life experience to guide you to where you want to be, but who also truly cares and understands, and who is able to meet you where you’re at. No judgement, only compassion and unconditional positive regard. As a clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience, I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life, and you have the answers and the abilities within you to move forward. I am here to listen, to provide clear and applicable treatment, and to respectfully join you on your path to optimal health and wellness. I have successfully worked with many people over the years who were dealing with depression, anxiety, and anger, who were triggered by things from the past and who couldn’t sleep, and who suffered losses and felt overwhelmed. The good news – there was help for them and there is help for you.

Each person is different in regards to how long it takes to complete treatment. After an initial intake session, we will collaborate on your treatment plan, and check in at the end of each session to make sure we’re on track. Some people are finished with treatment after 8-20 weeks, and others continue for longer based on their unique circumstances and situations.

If you are interested in learning more about my background and training, please contact me. Regarding treatments, I typically provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, insomnia and anger management, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, the ‘gold standard’ of treatments for people with those presenting problems. If someone has PTSD and concerns about addiction, we usually start with Seeking Safety to work on coping strategies. For grief and loss, I provide personalized care based on individual needs.

I’m often told by my clients that they feel they can trust me and tell me anything, that they felt comfortable from the minute they walked in my door, and that’s exactly the kind of space I’d like to provide for you. When you’re ready, please feel free to request an appointment. If you prefer to schedule a brief phone call to see if I’m a good fit for you, that is totally fine, just let me know. Please note that I do not accept any insurance, but I’m happy to provide a receipt so that you can submit a claim for reimbursement to your insurance.

I look forward to joining your journey for this period in your life.
